The Build... (By that dude from See See)

Yes, yes I know this does not have the most bitching choppers of all time. But some times you have to remember what got you into bikes in the first place. I really like this video. And at the end of the day I just really, really like motorcycles in general and riding! Weather it be in a group or all alone. I need it all. In the city and in the country on winding roads with breath taking views. Its a different kind of experience and exorcise in riding and utilizes a number of different skill sets. And I need it all from dodging pot holes in town and threading traffic. To reading a big corner on a back road and seeing the country side every one is too caged up to enjoy properly. It's also an extremely  intimate thing to maintain or build your own bike then put it through its paces. To experience all these great moments that make you feel alive. To go on a voyage and do it successfully or even fight with the bike the whole way there. It's all part of the experience. But with out that thing you have had cover your hands in greasy oil and likely cut you wide open, the world would in some way be closed to you and empty. I some times wonder if I may be at my best on my bike. One thing is for sure with out a motorcycle that I have had my hands all over with which to interact with the world. A massive part of my being is missing. Having said that I need to go look at top end parts for my scoot before it gets our of hand!!! Now Watch this damn video now!!!

Tom's view of the Smokey Mountain Chopper Fe...

Here are a few of the shots I came up with at the 1st annual Smokey Mountain Chopperfest in Franklin NC.
I had a tube failure just outside of town with in 15 minutes of  leaving town. Luckily it was only sprinkling and not pouring. We got a truck dropped off loaded the bike up and went out to catch the party.

Josh at Saladin Cycles (he's a boss by the way!) hooked me up with a new tube the next day and we stuck it on with the first round of hang overs still ringing in our heads. Much thanks to our friends who put us up and let us use your house! We really need to come up there more often!
These guys are rulers in case you didn't know.

My bike at the top of the hill on the way out.
This has been referred to as our "we broke the Prospects" photo. These boys worked and partied hard all weekend! You made us proud.
Some of our line up in front of  our camp. Stay tuned for video of the white and purple ironhead flying!

Some good fellers in this shot!
Here's one snapped on the run in.
