Ok kiddies, I updated some of the options with the bars mostly pull down/ roll back of the top bar & top bar length. Keep in mind one of the reasons to wait for my "built to order" bars is the fact that they are not just some off the shelf one size fits all made in China B.S... If you are diggin my bars but want them just slightly different to suit your build as in dimensions, pull back/ pull down, knurling distance, or what ever. Give me a call or shoot me an email and I will try to work some thing out that will work for you. That is the benefit of not being part of a mass produced big box chain! Check out our some of our products & services on the right column of the blogs under product!

Hot, hot, hot off the presses!
Ladys and Gentle Worms I present for your viewing displeasure (I hope) a short tale about a flaming shitter! Its been a crazy week. But then again coming in to work on Tuesday morning only to find your bathroom engulfed in flames will do that! There were 9 fire extinguishers emptied and some hose water to boot by the time the Fire Department showed up! But we are very lucky no one got hurt, no tool or product damage, and no vehicle loss. Just a few magazines, some tp, and hand soap. Oh yeah and the entire bathroom!!!

The End of an Era...
We had a great Halloween show! I really want to thank every one who helped to make it happen. As some of you may know this was a benefit for the Prison Books program. Being a volunteer run program they depend heavily on benefits such as this one.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We had a lot of wonderful people and I had a hell of a time myself. But the actions of a few have ruined it for every one. Mostly the graffiti on my landlords building across the street and a few other things...
It was fun while it lasted! And thank you to all the bands that have played here, and the folks that have organized shows in the past. It was nice to have a chance to give something back.
On a side note if you know any thing about the graffiti it almost cost me my space. And we are on thin ice with our land lord now. I have faith that all will smooth over in time. But any info would be appreciated. We will also be reviewing the video from their security camera for clues as to who may have been involved.
Also who ever stole my girlfriends pick up from The Get Down this week end we are looking for you as well!!! And you punks can't drive worth a damn. With in about 20 seconds I had the truck unstuck with no pushing, digging or pulling. I hope you enjoyed our Stun Guns tape you decided to listen to during your adventure. Just one more security tape to review... I hope I can see your face you dumb shit!

Our signature series Hourglass bars. Only at Deep Six Cycles!
Available in 1" or 7/8". With pull down, Pull back, or a combination of the two. Available in Powder coat or raw dog. The top bar on our Win bars tend to be 22" across so if you would like alittle more length just let us know when you order.

Cafe bump stop seat for Briton Bees.
A little while back I was asked to make a Cafe style Bump Stop seat for an up coming project from Briton Bees. I never did snap a picture of it when I finished up the tin since it was late and my camera pretty much only works in the day light... I hand worked 16ga into what you see here. The bump stop was a lot of fun and I learnt a lot along the way. Its nice to have an excuse to beat on tin. I tend to find my self avoiding it. p.s. the upholstery was out sourced to some one that does it every day.
You can find Briton Bees her.- http://britonbees.com/
It was a really great working with these guys! I'm looking forward to the next time! Great cats for sure!

This bike was stolen from a B.P. Station on Patten Ave. Here in Asheville. There is a reward for any information leading to the return of this 1972 Triumph Daytona. Any one seeing this motorcycle please contact the owner at 377.854. No Questions Asked he just wants his bike back! The vin is x641576t100r
I got an email this afternoon, so here's an update on the situation!-
"I'm happy to report that I recovered my bike no worse for wear than it is missing its plate! Best possible scenario; some n'er-do-well got tired of pushing it up hill and stashed it behind an apt. building, covered with a tarp. I'm now the proud owner of a new tarp!"

Lee Bender. A tale of a Skater/ Chopper Jockeys battle with M.S.
I asked Lee to wright a little something about him self for the blog and this is what he had to say.
Im long winded, so ill keep it bare bones for sure.
lee bender, skateboarder, multiple sclerosis customer. workin on raising some money to pay for an illegal procedure to possibly cure m.s. in Katowice Poland sometime in 2011. need 11 grand, already raised 2500. still need 8500. trying to hold onto my car, but have a car to sell if necessary.
skateboarder first. 8.25x32, indy 149s, oj 60mm wheels no risers. ride and change the oil on my evo sporty chop. it starts everytime and goes everywhere. recently from Indianapolis to Denver, thru the mountains on highway50 down thru monument valley, blasted thru Barstow, down into San Bernardino over to Hollywood and long beach. up the coast to sf on the pch. only problems where getting struck by lightening in the Rockies at 12,000 feet, a worn out chain and a bald tire once i got to my new home of San Francisco. I've got no complaints as my meds keep the ms for getting any worse, but they do absolutely nothing for regenerating any new or fixing any damaged nerve endings. my hands and feet have been numb for 3 years, my balance is off enough where i can skate, i have cognitive issues where my short term memory is a little off and i get tired/exhausted after being on my feet for more than 60-90 minutes... no big deal considering that some people wake up blind or paralyzed with this stuff. i still ride my bike daily and physically, i look totally fine and normal...its just my insides are eating themselves alive...
Here are a few links to pass along for both my stupid life blog thing and some info for the liberation procedure in case others who suffer from ms are reading this...
Check out the links below. I wish Lee the best of luck and hope that this info helps some other folks that may be battling m.s... At the very least check out Lees Blog (the first link it rocks!) and the second one to the Real skateboard company has a video that is well worth the time to see.

It also turns out that Lee built what is known (online to dummies like me any how) as "The pope hat bike" or "that bike with the pope hat" and so on. I have always dug this bike and the out of the box mini fairing/bug deflector. So I pilfered these images from the J.J. Hope you don't mind Lee.

To quote some one that has it all figured out C.T.F.S!
This is my brothers work in progress sporting Deep Six Cycles first gen foot pegs, flush mount sight glass bungs and petcock made in house. Brass goodies for the rest of the controls and passenger pegs and our hour glass bars will be installed soon! This bike is a great example of how bikes evolve little by little piece by piece while money is tight and remain daily riders!
